Rams Week 7 Notes

Gridiron Gateway Staff
Posted Oct 16, 2007

The Rams are off to an 0-6 start for the first time since 1962.

Rams Update for Week 7:

n      On the injury front, Rams head coach Scott Linehan expects starting wide receiver Isaac Bruce and starting safety Corey Chavous to return to the lineup on Sunday against Seattle.  Bruce has missed two games with a strained hamstring and with the injuries to the wide receiving core; Bruce will be needed on offense.

n      Drew Bennett has a strained hamstring and his status will be determined on Friday.  Center Brett Romberg has a sprained ankle and a determination will be made on him on Friday as well.  Running back Steven Jackson will do some light running this week to see how his torn groin muscle is progressing.  Jackson is doubtful and will probably miss yet another game.  Dante Hall has been ruled out for Sunday.

n      The Rams 0-6 start is their worst since 1962.  No Rams team has ever started a season 0-7.

n      The Rams dropped both meetings last year against Seattle, arguably the Rams best rival in the NFC West.  Of the last ten meetings between the two teams, seven have been decided by seven points or fewer.  The Rams last won in Seattle in October 2004.
